Klug Studio is an investigation into inhabiting a space which was not originally designed at a human scale. This process led us to design the necessary elements of the space not as walls and volumes, but as independent pieces of furniture. This allows the client to experience the endearing awkwardness of a strangely proportioned space while avoiding the confusing awkwardness of trying to force the designs and expectations of typical construction in a decidedly atypical context.
